Preparing your premises for a pest control exercise is crucial to ensuring its effectiveness and safety. At M&N Services, we prioritize thoroughness and professionalism, but we also need your cooperation to create an environment that allows our technicians to work efficiently. Below are the essential steps you need to take before the pest control process begins. Following these guidelines will help us deliver the best results while keeping everyone safe.
Here are the Pre-Pest Control Precautions and Instructions
1. Clear Kitchen and Pantry Utensils
Remove all kitchen/pantry utensils from the kitchen cabins i.e. plates, cups, cutlery etc inclusive of the cabin liners. (This should be directed to the concerned staff on duty). In addition all office desks, drawers, pantries, filling cabinets should be emptied such that our technicians can access all the potential pest harborages.
2. Dispose of Cabin Liners
The liners from the kitchen cabins/desks should be disposed off immediately as they contain pest eggs.
3. Move Furniture Away from Walls
In the rest of the premises, Please remove all office/household furniture a few inches off the wall such that we can gain access to the entire skirting of the inside of the premises.
4. Ensure Manholes Are Accessible
Ensure that all manholes are accessible by our technicians as they are a perfect breeding ground for roaches and sewer rodents as well as all offices and stores.
5. Secure Pets Safely
In case you have any pets like dogs or cats please lock them safely away in their kennels or any other safe room. You may release them at least two hours after the pest control exercise, the longer the better, when all the pesticide residues have dried away to prevent being leaked by the pets.
6. Evacuate Vulnerable Individuals
Evacuate the premises and leave minimum staff on site, children, the elderly and persons with allergies are more vulnerable to exposure to pesticides, they should be evacuated at least two hours after the pest control exercise. The longer the better.
7. Provide Full Access to Premises
Please let our technicians gain full access to the entire premises, i.e. all offices/rooms should be opened and all drawers, pantries, offices desks should be accessible. Failure to access the above areas would render the service ineffective.
8. Open All Drawers
Open all the drawers for effective pest control exercise.
